“Lighthouses do not run around looking for boats to save, they simply stand and shine.”

A version of this very thought occurred to me on a long run yesterday. The world can be exhausting for someone like me. My reality is comprised largely of helping others recognize their light in the world. I find, at times, that my very presence for moments can elevate the energy of an individual, group of individuals or a large room of people.

I am here to inspire and ignite. To influence the world around me and leave it better. I think that there are many people that love access to light like this.
But for this reason, social burnout has pushed me most recently into full on hermit mode. I very rarely leave my house for social events. More often as of late, this previously labeled extrovert has been locked inside her house, speaking to fewer and fewer people – largely for the sole reason that if boundaries are not created, all the light will be exhausted.

We’re all light. We’re all energy. Everyone is gifted unique talents and, once discovered, optimized and properly leveraged, they work in conjunction with the energy around them to manifest epic shit.

Kinda like the butterfly effect.

How to harness this light to reach and assist the maximum number of people without burning myself out and needing to take 3 days to a week (or MORE) to recharge… that’s what I’m working on right now.

Write.
Write on a platform that isn’t subject to algorithms.
Build a motherfucking lighthouse, place my light prominently at the top – and allow it to light the way
